What is Gulf Shore Mustang Club of Southwest Florida?

 

GSMC is a Regional Chartered Group of the Mustang Club of America run as a not-for-profit, membership-based club for enthusiastic Ford Mustang owners dedicated to the admiration, preservation and restoration of all year Mustangs.  The purpose of the club is to not only promote the care, maintenance, restoration or modification of Ford Mustangs, but also to provide opportunities for its members to meet, socialize and maintain a spirit of friendship.  The club participates in a wide variety of events ranging from car shows/cruise nights to tech sessions (including guest speakers) to track events and road rallies.

Monthly general membership club meetings are held on the THIRD Wednesday of every month from September through May at 7:00 p.m but come early (6pm) and enjoy dinner with fellow club members. Currently, the club meets at "Crispers" 13711 South Tamiami Trl, (in the Target Plaza at US41 and Daniels Pkwy), Ft Myers, Fl 33912.  Our Board meetings are held at the same location and same time but on the FIRST Wednesday of every month from September through May.  All members are welcomed and encouraged to attend the Board meetings. 

 

Why Join GSMC?

 

Joining GSMC allows you to meet fellow enthusiasts with similar interests and goals allowing you to keep up on local car show dates, track events, club sponsored speakers and any other activities our members can dream up.  Even if you can not make the monthly meeting members will be able to keep in touch via the GSMC message board. This allows for sharing tech tips, borrowing of tools, asking for help on large or small projects, making suggestions for club activities, or just bench racing about your favorite topic, even if it is not car related.  GSMC also publishes a monthly online newsletter, has obtained discounts for club members at local Ford Dealerships and vendors in the area.  All members receive a window sticker, classified ad space in our newsletter, and an open invitation to all club sponsored events. With a strong active membership and connections with other area clubs we can use our buying power to our advantage.

 

How Do I Join?

 

Joining GSMC is easy:  Come visit us at one of our meetings or events, complete and send in the enclosed application with $20.00, go to our membership form or contact our Membership Director, or any Board Member at any of our events, each of whom will be glad to assist you.  Membership dues are $20 per calendar year.
